The Mist - Coffee Mugs

While working on a very small crew on The Mist, I decided to bring in my Sanseo Coffee maker and placed it on my desk. Every morning or even in the afternoon, when someone needed a nice pick me up they would pass by and get a fresh cup of coffee. Originally the mug was not being approved at the studio, but as soon as our VFX sup saw the design print on my desk, he sent it to Frank Darabont. Within 20 minutes we had full approval, and Mr. Darabont ordering a dozen color variety for his friends! The design has the silhouettes of one of the frames from one of my actual shots on the film. (With a slight modification of the bird pose from one of the animators.)
